Merry Christmas from our home to yours






I would like to personally thank all of you who read my posts.  Gayle and I want to wish you all a wonderful Christmas!

Some of you may remember the old comic strip by Stan Lynde called “Rick O’Shay” and Rick’s buddy, the rough gunslinger, “Hipshot.”  The cowboy said very simply, "Happy Birthday, Boss." That was Christmas for old “Hipshot” in his church without walls.  

Enjoy the Christmas season.  It’s a time for family and friends and a peaceful oasis for reflection, for love, and all the good stuff.  Fyodor Dostoevsky said, "Man only likes to count his troubles, but he does not count his joys.”   

 Christmas is a perfect time to count our blessings and joys.

    I remember those photos from last year! I guess the cowboy and his horse are still alive!

    What do you think - about 6 to Life - for the Duck Commander!!!!!

    Maybe he could share a cell with Michael Moore!

    Why can the liberals give their opinion but not the conservatives? Strange world!

      I like to reuse that one, because it's so appropriate and something I can relate to.

      The CEO of A&E is a woman who evidently doesn't like men, especially Christian men.

      Duck Dynasty is the hottest show on cable TV and has made millions for the network. It's also my favorite show. They will have many options.

      You may not know that Phil was the starting quarterback in college ahead of Terry Bradshaw.

      If the politically correct police toss Phil in a cell with Michael Moore, Phil would gut him out and carpet the cell with his hide.
